Inner Cartons and Shipping Packs
Shipping packs are planned around the approved retail packs, shipment method and receiving requirements. We review carton dimensions, item separation and identification together before final packing quantities are set.
Project specifications
We confirm the following details from your artwork and physical sample before quoting or production.
| Packing unit | List the retail pack dimensions and weight, units per inner pack and proposed units per outer carton, separating mixed-SKU assortments clearly. |
|---|---|
| Carton structure | Share board and carton-style requirements or transport constraints; the proposed structure must be assessed against the actual packed weight and handling route. |
| Internal protection | Identify dividers, cushioning and clearance around fragile or decorated areas; protection should prevent product contact without leaving excessive movement inside the carton. |
| Marks and labels | Provide carton marks, SKU labels, quantities, destination details and any buyer barcode format; approved shipping information must match the packing list. |
| Receiving and handling | State parcel, pallet or other shipment plan with receiving limits, orientation and inspection requirements; final dimensions and weight require a packed measurement. |
Sample and quality checks
Measure and weigh a fully packed carton, verify its count and labels, and inspect item separation. Carry out the agreed handling or transport checks on the complete pack before confirming the final packing specification.
