Product Trays and Packaging Inserts
A tray or insert must fit the approved merchandise while allowing fans to remove it comfortably. We review item positions, pressure points and the outer box before assessing insert materials.
Project specifications
We confirm the following details from your artwork and physical sample before quoting or production.
| Product geometry | Provide actual product dimensions, weight and protruding details, including hardware and accessories; cavity design must follow approved samples rather than concept artwork. |
|---|---|
| Material direction | Share paperboard, moulded pulp, foam or other preferences as assessment directions; material suitability depends on protection, presentation and project-specific supply review. |
| Cavity and access | Mark product positions, support points and finger spaces, with the intended unboxing order; avoid pressure on faces, decoration and vulnerable projections. |
| Outer-box fit | Supply the approved internal box dimensions, lid clearance and assembly method; inserts must sit securely without preventing the box from closing. |
| Assembly and identification | Confirm product-to-cavity mapping, any printed identifiers and whether inserts are supplied assembled, flat or preloaded for the planned packing workflow. |
Sample and quality checks
Fit every actual item, close the box and review movement, pressure marks and removal access. Check that repeated packing and unpacking do not scuff decoration or loosen the insert’s retaining features.
